For IB Schools
VLS & AM partners with schools offering the International Baccalaureate to provide virtual, curriculum-aware learning support for students in the Middle Years Programme and/or the Diploma Programme (Grades 11-12), extending your school's existing learning support without adding to staff workload.
Who is this for?
Any student who struggles with time management, prioritization and planning, organization, study skills, or social-emotional resilience.
MYP or DP student identified as requiring additional support who is not currently enrolled in a learning support programme
MYP students transitioning into the DP, particularly those who encountered difficulty completing the Personal Project
DP students experiencing challenges with organization, time management, or the overall demands of the programme
Students currently enrolled in school-based learning support who may benefit from supplementary one-on-one coaching outside of school
What services do you provide?
Every program is tailored to each learner's strengths, challenges, and goals:
Executive function coaching: Time management, prioritization, planning, organization & calendar management systems
Study skills development: Matched to each student's individual learning style.
Written work support: From brainstorming through to final drafts.
IB-specific academic coaching: Tailored to MYP and DP coursework. For IB Diploma Programme students, I offer support with IAs, TOK, and the Extended Essay. As a former IB MYP & DP educator, I adhere strictly to the IB's academic integrity guidelines.
Goal setting, teacher communication, and social-emotional resilience.
Between sessions: I create customized learning tools, such as graphic organizers, checklists, and project breakdown charts, to make complex tasks manageable and give feedback on assessments. I'm available to update teachers, counselors, or learning support coordinators as needed, and I complement (not replace) your school learning support team.
How it works
Referral-based model: Once a school identifies a student who may benefit, we connect directly with the family to arrange support.
Online, one-on-one sessions: Held in English on Google Meet, usually 45 to 60 minutes, once or twice a week. Students located in Europe meet after their school day (my daytime hours, Eastern Time).
School communication: Available for updates with learning support coordinators, counselors, or teachers, as needed.
Complements in-house staff: Designed to complement, not replace, a school's internal learning support team.

4 years in private practice as a one-on-one virtual learning support coach
6 years supporting IB Diploma Programme students through the two-year DP arc, in the classroom and in private practice, including TOK, the Extended Essay, and IAs
