Does this sound like you?

  • Feeling overwhelmed by multiple courses, deadlines, and commitments

  • Not knowing where to start when studying for an exam or writing a paper

  • Missing deadlines or turning in rushed, last-minute work

  • Losing motivation or confidence when coursework gets hard

  • Struggling to manage your time now that no one is checking in on you

What is virtual learning support?

University brings more freedom and far less structure, and many capable students find that the study habits that worked in high school don't hold up. Every program is tailored to your strengths, challenges, and goals:

  • Sessions may include executive function coaching (time management, prioritizing, planning ahead, and meeting deadlines), study skills development, goal setting, and support with course content and written work.

  • If needed, I also create customized learning tools, such as planners, checklists, and project breakdown charts, to make big assignments manageable.

  • I help you build your own skills and ideas. I do not write or complete assignments for you, and I work within your institution's academic integrity policies.

How it works

  • Sessions are one-on-one and online, held in English on Google Meet. They usually run 45 to 60 minutes, once or twice a week. Students in the U.S. meet during the day, before 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Students at English-speaking universities in Europe meet in the afternoon or evening, during my daytime hours.

  • In a typical session, first we check in, review what's due across your courses, and set goals & priorities for the week. You lead the second half: work through an assignment, review feedback on a graded paper or exam, or build a study system that fits your learning style and schedule. Between sessions, I prepare any support materials you need and give feedback on your work when you ask.

“Learning support tutoring helped me develop critical thinking,  gain more confidence in my subjects, be more open-minded, and overcome any challenges that may come my way. It helped me plan and think about different ways to tackle my assignments. Finally, it helped me develop the various skills required for my subjects. It has really helped me become more organized and more forward-thinking on my priorities and what I must do to be successful in the things I want to accomplish for the rest of my life. Thank you, Ms. Gorczyca."
