Any middle school, high school, or college student who struggles with time management, prioritization and planning, organization and calendar management, study skills, or social-emotional resilience.

This might look like:

• Missing deadlines or turning in last-minute, rushed work

• Feeling overwhelmed juggling multiple classes, assignments, or extracurriculars

• Not knowing where to start when studying for a test or writing an essay

• Struggling to stay motivated, confident, or resilient under academic pressure

• Relying on a parent to manage their schedule, deadlines, or workload

More specifically:

• Any student who has been flagged as needing extra support

• MYP students entering the DP, especially those who struggled with the Personal Project

• Grade 11 DP students who are having difficulty staying organized, managing their time, or keeping up with the programme's demands, but aren't currently receiving learning support services at school

• Students already receiving school-based learning support who could benefit from additional 1:1 coaching at home

I partner with IB World Schools to provide virtual, curriculum-aware learning support for MYP (Grades 6–10) and DP (Grades 11–12) students, extending your school's existing learning support without adding to staff workload.

• Referral-based model: Once a school identifies a student who may benefit, I connect directly with the family to arrange support.

• Coordinator communication: Available for updates with learning support coordinators, counselors, or teachers, as needed.

• Complements in-house staff: Designed to complement, not replace, a school's internal learning support team.

All sessions are conducted online in English via Google Meet. Most of my students live in Europe and attend MYP/DP international schools, so our sessions take place after their school day ends — which falls during my daytime hours, since I'm based in EST. I also work with students abroad in English-speaking university programs, as well as students in the U.S. who are available to meet before 6:30 PM EST.

In the first half of the lesson, we check in and then dive into what they're covering in each class. From there, we create a priority list based on their assignment load, plan how to tackle each assessment, and identify the week's top goals. The second half of the lesson is more student-led; we might work through an assignment where content support is needed, review an assessment together and talk through how to improve, or focus on building study habits, communication skills, and more, depending on what the student needs that day. Between sessions, I create any needed support materials and provide feedback on assessments when asked.

I typically work with students for one hour, but I can also do 45-minute sessions if that better suits a student’s attention span and bandwidth.
